The main ports of Cyprus are Limassol and Larnaca both situated on the south coast of the island. The Limassol Port is situated on the outskirts of the country's second main city in terms of population and economic significance. It handles two thirds of the total container traffic locally generated and transhipment as well as the entire volume of grain imports. |

The largest goods port in Denmark was established at Fredericia as its location beside the Little Belt provides deep waters and good navigation conditions. The Port of Fredericia has a total of four kilometres of quays with water depths of up to fifteen metres. More than 2,000 freight ships dock at the harbour each year. It is the efficient development of the harbour business which is the reason for its success. |
